Chili Night Run

Miles 5.09

Neighborhoods - VA Highlands

To my friend Scarlett, who reads my blog faithfully, you can put down the phone and save your breath.  I intentionally titled this entry 'chili'.  Scarlett loves to edit my blogs, emails, and life.  By far, I am able to catch more mistakes on her correspondences.  It's like Christmas every time I find an error.

Tonight was a great run as evidenced by the numbers above.  I started out slow, thinking I would just mosey along since I ran last night and will run with Frontrunners tomorrow.  I felt really good and decided to kick it up a gear.  I decided to run a zig zag pattern through VA Highlands to take advantage of the Christmas decorations.  I ran up one street, down the next, then up again, over and over.  Of course I kept repeating hills.  If I had been running flat, my time would have been sub 7.  Ha!

Now, to tie my subject line in.  Tonight Heath is having a chili night at the Studio to celebrate our ad in the Atlanta Bride magazine due out on news stands next week.  The ad looks great and we are very proud of it.  Once we get done with the Bridal Show in January, hopefully bookings will start rolling in.  I have to believe they will.

Well, off to the showers.  What does one wear to a chili supper.  Plaid?

Peaceful Running!
