Swedish Stalker (Saturday Dec 26th)

Miles  8.81
December Total 78.3
Pace 8:13
Neighborhoods - Vero Beach, FL

While in Vero Beach for Christmas, I seized the opportunity to run in mild weather on flat terrain.  I did a decent 8.8 miler and I really thought it was ten miles.  I think I may have lied and posted that on Facebook, but wasn't able to check my mileage until today.

At about mile 2, a very tall and healthy blonde woman appeared in front of me.  I quickly caught up with her and forgot about her until I started to cross over the river bridge and she appeared from a side street.  She had taken a shortcut and I was having none of it.  I crossed over the bridge, but she did not.  I then ran back over the bridge and went into the quaint shopping area of Vero Beach on Ocean Drive.  I made my way through shoppers and tourists and headed back out onto A1A.  Waiting for the walk signal, she ran by me.  I am like, 'please, please'.  So, again, I passed her.  This time she spoke.  I got a good look at her nordic features and decided she was a Swedish Wrestler.  Her voice was very deep, "Great run" she said.  I quickly concurred and ran for my life.  I guess she turned off again as I didn't look back to see.  I didn't look back until I got home and safely behind the locked door.  Crazy!

Well, that's about it.  I don't know if I will run tonight...it's so windy and cold out.  But I probably will.

Peaceful Running!
