I ran with Frontrunners tonight and we had an awesome run. We took advantage of the cool night to run through Olympic Centennial Park to see the beautiful Christmas light display. The big tree was awesome with the twinkling white, green, and red lights.
I had my best pace yet tonight. I was the Frontrunner and I can thank Rich Hart for that. He pushed me onward. Even though I ran a similar pace yesterday for 8 miles, I felt great tonight. I think I will have to take tomorrow off though to make sure I don't injure myself. I was surprised that I felt as good as I did this evening.
Great day at work. It was freezing in the office, but I was productive. My boss Susan, my muse for this marathon, was yelling at me most of the day because my offices in Tennessee were hacking away at our revenue forecast like Tiger Wood's wife at an Escalade!
I am already tired. Nothing like a great workout to make you rest well. Oh, my condolences go out to the lady who died after finishing a half marathon for St. Jude's in Memphis. 32 years old...so sad.
Peaceful Running!
